Wow, you are like Nostradamus … pretty good predictions. BTW — if the Flames hadn’t of BLOWN two games vs. Colorado, they would be right in the hunt along with the other underwhelming Western teams like SJ, MIN, NASH.

I really think it might be possible that this team can turn it around and make it to 8th. I think Bob Hartley’s system has started sinking in since Kiprusoff was out. Clearly, they had trouble in net without him.

But with Kipper back in the line-up it will provide the goal-tending they desperately need and maybe even a psychological edge. And a team can always get hot at the right time and go big…(Los Angeles).

But whatever, I’m a glass-half-full guy.

I guess that means they now have to be 21-11-0 for the rest of the year. It would be nice to see them string together more than one or two wins in a row, but that doesn’t ever seem to happen.

MacDonald looked good in net, except when the other teams try to put him through it and none of the players seem to mind.

And hey, with three, Stajan now has three times more goals than Iggy this year! What a magical year he is having!

Some teams that are better than Calgary this year: NY Islanders, Edmonton Oilers, Colorado Avs, Minnie Wild, Florida Panthers, Winnipeg, Tampa and (this pains me) the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Teams that are worse than Calgary: Columbus, Washington and (arguably) Buffalo.

Blow this team up, like three years ago already. Rebuild, start the fire sale for draft picks and bring Irving back up along about four others from Abbotsford and inject some LIFE into this lame, lame, lame team.
