After going down by one, the Flames had a two-goal second period lead by Calgary hands-man Brian McGrattan. However the Big Ern’s performance wasn’t enough as Anaheim scored two in the third to win this one by a single goal. The 44th time Calgary has been on either end of a one-goal-game this year.
Karri Ramo played fantastic against a much different version of the Ducks compared to the last time they were here. It’s too bad Calgary couldn’t have at least got him a point for his efforts.
I also missed the Flames win over the Sharks on Monday, and the debacle up in Edmonton on Saturday. What can I say? I was busy.
