I certainly hope so. It’s been rumored (through a couple sites, and Puck Daddy) that there are rumblings that Ken King could move to a role that would have him oversee the business side of the Flames, and former St. Louis Blues executive John Davidson becoming the next President of the Calgary Flames.
Davidson has ties to Calgary and could be a welcomed addition by the Flames faithful. Also John has family in Calgary allowing for an easy transition.
Tell me, would you pay $2 million a year for three years to JD?
