Flames 5 – Canucks 1
At home the Flames looked pretty good, jumping out to an 3-0 lead in the first and never looking back. Alex Tanguay and Tom Kostopoulos each had a goal and an assist in the game.
Canucks 4 – Flames 3
On the road, Calgary blew a third period lead to drop the second half of the split-squad games against Vancouver. The Flames owned this game, or the first two periods anyway, led by the mythical Nik Hagman, a hockey player virtually unknown to the NHL ranks.
Yea pre-season hockey!
