Brendan Morrison is a Flame. That’s fine, I guess he’s around until (if and when) Langkow gets healthy.
What is more interesting that Kipper makes nearly $100,000 per game - and that makes him one of the best value goaltenders in the NHL!

Flames finish preseason a perfect 7-0

All it took was an early garbage goal by Alex (Pass First) Tanguay and 55 minutes of heroics by Miikka Kiprusoff, and the Flames beat the Oilers 1-0 to end the preseason undefeated. But the Flames should beat them, aren’t the Oilers projected to finish 29th or so?
The real season starts Thursday (against the Oil, on CBC) and the Flames have 82 chances to fight their way into 8th place in the West.
